As we enter the holiday season, we could all use a healthier diet. Not just the food we take in through our lips but also the spiritual nourishment to strengthen our hearts. This year, our Midweek Advent services will be “Dining on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit” based on Galatians 5:22-23. Each week worshippers receive a piece of “Fruit” in the form of a magnet. You will also get a colorful tree which is an 8 ½ by 14 piece of paper in which you can add your pieces of fruit. It can enhance your refrigerator to be a positive witness for family and friends.
FINAL Midweek Advent service as we continue “Dining on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.”
This week we explore the Holy Spirit’s Fruit of Patience. How does this Fruit that we are given help benefit us in how we are to live for Christ? As we explore patience, we will see similar words to help us better understand this virtue including endurance, perseverance, waiting, and hope. God bless you with more of His patience as you feed on God’s Word tomorrow night (Wed) and as you are about to embark on this holiday season.
Dine with us at 5:45pm in the Fellowship Hall. On the menu: Sloppy Joes, Chips, Spanish Rice, Broccoli, Craisin Salad, and dessert surprises
Living in His Patience,
Pastor Dan
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 ESV

This week we explore the Holy Spirit’s Fruit of Peace. Jesus’ Peace is more than an absence of conflict with an adversary. It is an inner quality that only the Holy Spirit can give. This way our faith can function in a healthy way when it comes to our inner-being and how we address the challenges of our life. God bless you with more of His peace as you feed on God’s Word.

This week we explore the Holy Spirit’s Fruit of Joy. It is not happiness. Happiness depends on circumstances on the outside. Joy from Jesus starts from within us as the Holy Spirit is there giving us His fruit at the direction of Christ. This changes the attitude we have concerning how we face challenges in life. When we dine of God’s joy, our actions are good and right in order to be filled with contentment. God bless you with more of His joy as you feed on God’s Word tomorrow night.
