What an amazing week we had at Vacation Bible School! 18 Adults and 26 students studied four of Peter’s encounters with Jesus. They learned that Jesus is holy, forgiving, worth following, and for everyone! Jesus guides us through all the twists and turns of our lives. He helps us know His ways and teaches us His paths. (Psalm 25:4) Following Jesus changes everything!
A special thank you to Jim and June Cook and Kirsten Anderson for the Thrivent card donations. Thank you to all of the staff volunteers for the work and time they put in to make VBS a success. The following people helped in the kitchen, with rotation groups, as site leaders, or with decorations and set up: Tina Swanson, Noelle Swanson, Brenda Dautermann, Chrissy Behl, Rebecca Sennett, Pastor Dan, Audrey Veale, Grace Griinke, Christi Bickford, Tiffany Koenitzer, Zach Anderson, Sam Anderson, Valerie McCannon, Rebecca Baumann, Kathy Baumann, Kim Beighley, Christina Lawrence and Patty Divine. A special thank you to Eldon Kolander for helping with a special project.
We would also like to thank the 16 people that donated food items or money for our meals and supplies. A big thank you to Play Monster and the Stewardship committee for donating games for our drawings. So many people worked together to make this year's VBS a huge success! “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” Psalm 133:1
