Advent 2 Worship Service December 10, 2025
This Wednesday night (Dec 10) we continue our “God’s 10 Commandments of Love” looking at the 7th. How do we steal that which is not ours? You may be surprised how all-encompassing this commandment can be, especially when it includes looking out for each other’s property, and giving to people in need. May God bless you to treasure more what you have and value what others possess as we give to those in need.
Before worship enjoy a free dinner at 5:45pm in the Fellowship Hall hosted by the Food Pantry. On the menu:

Worship Service December 7, 2025
Those who are good at growing plants know the value of pruning. When plants are cut back it looks like life could never come back, yet new growth brings an even bigger, healthier plant with brighter flowers. When the Lord allows our lives to be “pruned,” we may not see the blessings that could come from that, but today the Word of God offers us renewal from the Holy Spirit so we can see growth and life again.
Let us Pray: O Lord, please prune us so our faith in You can be stronger and healthier to live more Your peace. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

In the Bible, great events happen on mountains. The church is seen today as a mountain of refuge where we are close to our God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Where are you? On the mountain? Close to it? What about others in your life? This Sunday in worship, let the Word of God bring you and others closer to Him for safety and security!
Let us Pray: O Lord, please raise us up Your Mountain to experience more Your wisdom, peace and love. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Thanksgiving Worship Service November 26, 2025
Thanksgiving Greetings in Christ’s Name. Messiah Lutheran is hosting a Thanksgiving Eve worship service which will be tomorrow night (Wed) at 7pm. The theme is “Coveting Contentment and Gratitude.” It the start of the Midweek Wednesday Sermon series on God’s 10 Commandments of Love. Sue Kolander will be playing the organ LIVE. And the Senior Choir will be singing as well. We will offer Holy Communion.

Worship Service November 23, 2025
How we respond to challenges is, in part, influenced by the way we think about our life to come. This week we look at how Jesus will remember us at the end of life. That promise from God offers us hope as we face the challenges of life, today. This week in worship, may the Word of God give you strength with Christ’s Hope in your hour of need.
Let us Pray: O Lord, please help us experience more of Your hope as we seek Your light of love amidst this dark world of sin. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Worship Service November 16, 2025
Jesus talks about the End and the signs that will accompany it. He does this not to scare us but to prepare us for the Best Day that will never end by avoiding the Worst Day that will never end. This week in worship, let God’s Word encourage and strengthen you through Christ, enabling the Holy Spirit to discern what to embrace and what to let go in preparing for your Best Day.
Let us Pray: O Lord, please prepare us for the Great and Glorious Day at the End where we will live forever in perfect peace and complete harmony. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
