Worship Service September 13, 2026
Fall Festival Day is THIS SUNDAY.
Pre-service Fellowship at 9am on the front entrance hallway. Enjoy donuts and coffee, and meet our Stewardship Committee
Worship at 9:30am ONLY. No 11am service.
Worship Theme: 5 Fingers to Prayer – simple ways to have a more meaningful time with the Lord. Bulletin is attached.
Children can have their backpacks blessed
All children get a special gift on behalf of Sunday School
3rd graders get their first Bibles
Sunday School Teachers get installed
Sunday School starts after the sermon
Picnic in the Fellowship Hall and outside after worship…about 11am
Brats, hot dogs and drinks are being provided.
If you can, please bring a dish to pass. IF YOU CAN’T please still attend anyway
Games for children and adults including bingo!
Dunk Tank fundraiser for AED and First Aid at Messiah. Your fellow Messiah leaders will be prepared to be dunked for those who had the most money put in their jars.
Let us pray: O Lord, through Your Word teach us how to adore you more, confess our sins regularly, express our thankfulness greatly, and pray for others needs as well as our own, then show us how to participate in the answers to our prayers. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Worship Service September 6, 2026
Sometimes the hardest things you can do can exhibit the greatest expressions of Christ’s love. This week we look at Scripture passages where the Word of God is moving us to warn others of actions they are doing that could draw them away from the salvation Christ gave them. How are we to approach such believers? On this Labor Day, may the Lord fill you with love as you labor over these situations in life so you can see His power working through you to care for others.
Let us pray: O Lord, thank You for laboring to save us for eternity. Please empower us to care more for other’s whose salvation is at risk. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Worship Service August 30, 2026
When computers aren’t working right, you can hit “Control,” “Alt,” “Delete” to reset so it works properly again. This week in worship, the Word of God will bless you in similar fashion for us who are just not working right when it comes to our faith walk with Christ. May the Word of God reset your heart to revive your spirit as you worship Him this day.
Let us pray: O Lord, please hit control-alt-delete, resetting our faith to better receive Your love and pass it onto others. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Worship Service August 23, 2026
How solid is the foundation of your faith? Is it hewn from the Rock of our Salvation or is it softer than that? Before you answer, let the Holy Spirit direct you to this week’s worship Scripture readings and sermon to determine how solid your faith is, and how the Lord strengthens it to withstand every day the threats to “gates of Hell.”
Let us pray: O Lord, help us to assess how solid our faith is when it comes to trusting in You. Let Your Word this week in worship solidify our relationship with You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Worship Service August 16, 2026
Are there people you simply don’t care for? And you can’t believe they would ever be a believer in Christ. This week the Word of God softens our hearts to think of, pray for, and care for those who we think aren’t believers in Christ but could be or already may be. By doing so, let Christ help you better appreciate your own salvation.
Let us pray: O Lord, help us care in ways we haven’t to people we haven’t even considered for Your Kingdom. Soften our hearts with Your love. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
