Obituary for Linda K. Sornson
Linda Kay Sornson, 82, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 in her home.

She was born on May 2, 1941 in Germany during WWII, the daughter of Adolf and Evelyn (Schmidt) Rohde. Linda married Edward O. Sornson on March 3, 1962. He predeceased her on November 9, 2019.

Linda was formerly employed by Serv Pro, Clean Sweep, Fairbanks and Western Container. She enjoyed cross stitching, leather embroidering, and leather engraving. Linda was very handy around the house and could do anything. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her sons, Edward Sornson of Beloit, WI, Eric (fiancé, Rose Powell) Sornson and Jason (Lisa) Sornson; several grandchildren; one great grandson; special friends, Bob and Judy Altenberg; caregiver and friend, Becky Lamphear and Steven Cutshall.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Memorial service for Linda will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Messiah Lutheran Church, 1531 Townline Ave. Beloit, WI, with Pastor Dan Eddy officiating. Visitation of remembrance will be from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. in the church.
