For many the Christmas holiday with all its festivities and expectations can feel like a time of the year when we feel trapped by all the trappings of the season. This Christmas Eve, we pray the Lord through His Word frees you to see the birth of our Savior as a time of giving and forgiving, so you can better experience the Hope, Peace, Joy, Love texts, Christmas hymns, and prayers. Bring your family candle to put on the altar or we can provide you with one. Singing by Silent Night by individual lights.
Before Jesus’ death, He invited His Disciples to the Victory party He knew He would be holding in Galilee after His Resurrection. But why didn’t the Disciples remember this invitation? How about us? Are we remembering our invitation to the everlasting victory party?
Let us pray: O Son of God, born sinless to take on our sins, bless our worship of You at Christmas worship services as we thank You for coming to Earth to be the perfect version of us. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
