This year’s Midweek Advent theme is a topic relevant to all of our lives:

Finding Hope Together in the Floods of Life: Learning from Noah and His Family.
- Week#1 - (Wednesday, December 4): Preparing for the Flood Here we will explore how to find the Lord’s favor in a world where sin and sinners influence much of our lives. We will look at how to avoid God’s judgment, and helping others see His love so they, too, can be saved.
- Week #2 - (Wednesday, December 11): Enduring the Flood Here we study how to seek the Lord’s protection so we can survive, learning how to experience His joy in the midst of turmoil.
- Week #3 - (Wednesday, December 18): After the Flood Here we will meditate on the Lord’s promises for life and restoration. What does it mean that God remembers you? And how can we live in His peace as we work to rebuild areas in our lives. Supper is at 5:45pm and worship is at 7pm. Worship services run around 45 minutes. It is a non-Communion service, but we will have Prayers from the Pew.
Advent Worship at Messiah 12/18/2024
“Finding Hope in the Floods of Life.” We have looked at Noah and his family, the Ark, and the Flood. Part #3 looks at what happens after the flood. We will meditate on the Lord’s promises for life and restoration, how to adjust our lives now that things will be different, and how can we live in His peace as we work to rebuild areas in our lives.

We meditate on how to seek the Lord’s protection so we can survive, learning how to endure with our faith in Christ, experiencing His joy in the midst of turmoil.
